Machine learning-based identification, classification, and threat detection in IoT concept

Aim and Scope

The EAI International Workshop on possibilities of machine learning-based identification, classification and threat detection in IoT concept, as part of EAI FABULOUS 2022 conference, aims to gather researchers in the domain of computer science, information and communication engineering, Internet of Things concept, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and other closely related areas. This workshop represents a platform for researchers to exchange ideas, transfer knowledge and practical experience, as well as address challenges in identifying and classifying IoT devices for monitoring, management, and control purposes. As a growing problem of cyber threats targeting IoT devices or IoT devices generating cyber threats, this workshop addresses state-of-the-art topics of using various machine learning approaches to detect and/or mitigate cyber threats using or targeting IoT devices in various domains (SmartHome, Intelligent Infrastructures, Industry 4.0, ITS, etc.).

Paper submission

Papers should be submitted through EAI ‘Confy+‘ system, and have to comply with the Springer format (see Author’s kit section).

All conference papers undergo a thorough peer review process prior to the final decision and publication. This process is facilitated by experts in the Technical Program Committee during a dedicated conference period. Standard peer review is enhanced by EAI Community Review which allows EAI members to bid to review specific papers. All review assignments are ultimately decided by the responsible Technical Program Committee Members while the Technical Program Committee Chair is responsible for the final acceptance selection. You can learn more about Community Review here.
