Title: “Enhanced IoT Technologies and Applications in the 5G Densification Era”
Abstract: During the last years we have assisted in a continuous development and diversification in the area of IoT applications and also there are several programs in development for new communication technologies and standards. The near future adoption of the 5G mobile communication standard, giving special attention to M2M and D2D communications will boost this trend. The planned Special Session “Enhanced IoT Technologies and Applications in the 5G Densification Era” will offer to all researchers involved in all these activities a new opportunity to present their results and their contribution to the development of this domain.
